Church Covenant

We trust that, through divine grace, we have committed ourselves to faith and love, and have
embraced obedience to God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Having been baptized upon our
profession of faith, we now solemnly and joyfully covenant with one another to walk together in
fellowship, in brotherly love, for the honor and glory of God.

In His strength, we commit to exercising Christian care and watchfulness over one another. We
will faithfully encourage and support each other as needed, and we will not neglect the
importance of gathering together or the sacred duty of prayer for ourselves and others. We will
strive to nurture those entrusted to our care in the ways of the Lord, and through our example,
we will seek to draw our friends and family to the Savior. We will share in each other’s burdens
and sorrows, and we will seek God’s help to live wisely and carefully in this world, turning away
from ungodliness and worldly desires.

As we have been buried in baptism and raised to new life, we recognize our special obligation to
lead lives that are holy and pleasing to God. We will work together to support a faithful and
evangelical ministry among us, and in both good times and bad, we will strive to live for the
glory of the One who has called us out of darkness into His marvelous light.
